Venue

PAISPhysics & Astronomy and Interdisciplinary Science (PAÍS) building located at 210 Yale Blvd. NE (one block north of Central and Yale).

The main entrance is located on the west side through the courtyard. We will have talks on the second floor in the conference room 2540 (take the main stairs to the second floor, turn left, and continue down the hallway to room 2540). There are plenty of small colorful collaboration rooms throughout PAÍS that can be used whenever. We will have morning and afternoon coffee at the back of room 2540 (or in main lobby on first floor) and possibly morning snacks.

You can access wifi through Lobo-Guest or eduroam.

Lunch & Dinner Options

There are plenty of good sit-down restaurants (O-Ramen, El Patio, Olympia Cafe, etc.) and plenty of quick bites (Jimmy Johns, Cheba Hut, Frontier, etc.) a couple blocks south of PAIS along Central Ave. and on the cross streets (Yale, Harvard, Cornell, etc.). The Student Union Building (SUB) on campus has fast food options and a coffee shop, which are usually open during lunchtime.

There are also other good food options in Nob Hill just east of campus (few minute drive) and other good options west of campus toward the downtown area (closer to the hotel). Here is an interactive Google Map with important places and good nearby restaurants labeled for lunches and dinners.
